For field technicians at Thermo International's customer companies. This guide explains how to use the troubleshooter, generate a service report at the end, and find your past reports.
A guided troubleshooter for the IS001B 60 / 120 / 200 kW induction power supplies. It walks you step-by-step through the diagnostic flow chart, asks what you'd otherwise look up in the manual, and at the end produces a printable PDF service report you can save, print, or email to your office.
Important: the app summarises the troubleshooting steps. It does not replace your training, the printed manual, or any machine safety interlocks. Always follow operating procedure.
You'll receive credentials from Thermo International support. One of two flavours:
Option A · temporary password. Open the URL, sign in at /login with your email and the temporary password. The first sign-in forces you to set a new password (min 12 characters). You're in.
Option B · activation token. A long random string that expires in 7 days. Open /activate, paste the token, choose your password (min 12 characters). Your account is now active — sign in normally at /login from then on.
Lost the activation link? Ask Thermo support to Reset password on your account — they'll send a fresh token.
- Select your machine — pick the model (60 kW / 120 kW / 200 kW). The active pill turns blue.
- Where do you want to start? — pick the entry point that matches the symptom: machine won't power up, fault displayed, or limit displayed.
- The system records the start of your session. The first step appears.
| Card | What you do |
|---|---|
| Action | An instruction to perform on the machine, then click Done — continue. |
| Question | A branching question with answer buttons. Pick the answer that matches what you observe. |
| Measurement | A numeric reading. Type the number, click continue. The system routes you by the value. |
| Note | Background information or a tip. Read, then continue. |
| Warning ⚠ | Safety acknowledgement. Read carefully — don't skim — then click I understand — continue. |
| Index | A sub-menu — pick the option that applies. |
| Diagnosis | The terminal step: a coloured severity pill, a finding title, a list of recommended actions, and a Finish & report button. |
← Back retraces a step. From the very first step it returns you to the entry-point picker.
When you click Finish & report, you'll be asked for the bits the system can't infer:
- Technician name — appears on the signature line; pre-filled from your account.
- Machine model — pre-filled from your earlier choice.
- Machine serial # — strongly recommended; Thermo uses serials to spot recurring problems on the same unit.
- Site / location — plant, building, or panel.
- Did this diagnosis fix the issue? — Yes / Partial / No. The single most useful piece of feedback you can give — it tells Thermo whether the flowchart actually solves problems in the field.
- Notes — anything worth recording: observations, parts ordered, follow-up needed.
Click Save & open report. The PDF view opens.
Forgot to click Finish & report and closed the tab? Open My reports later and complete the form there.
Click Save as PDF / Print in the report toolbar. Your browser's print dialog opens. Pick Save as PDF as the destination (Chrome, Edge, Safari all support it) and save the file. The browser strips the toolbar — you get a clean one-page document with the Thermo branding, your customer details, the diagnosis, and the steps you walked.
You can email the saved PDF anywhere. The URL itself only works for you and Thermo support — anyone else following the link will be redirected to the login page.
My reports in the top bar lists every session you've started, newest first, with date, machine, outcome, and severity. Click Open report on any row to re-open the PDF view — handy for re-printing, re-sharing, or following up later.

- Every session you start is recorded — date, steps, diagnosis, machine serial, your notes — and is visible to Thermo International support.
- Your colleagues at the same company do not see your sessions. Only Thermo's admin does.
- Your password is stored hashed; nobody (including Thermo) can read it.
- The app uses one cookie (ts_sid) to keep you signed in. It expires after 30 days of inactivity.
